About us

A story of people,
passion and transmission

Périgord Noir is an association of passionate professionals who dedicate their expertise to promoting the black truffle of Périgord and the exceptional products of this unique terroir.

Our mission

Promote, share,
perpetuate

Founded over twenty years ago, our association brings together nearly 80 producers, artisans and chefs, all driven by the same demand for quality and authenticity.

Our greatest strength is our people. Truffle hunters who know every corner of their forests. Affineurs who master time and patience. Chefs who transform each truffle into a culinary work of art.

After twenty years at markets and fairs across France and Europe, we created a Swiss subsidiary to carry our expertise beyond borders and shine within Swiss gastronomy.

What drives us

Our values

Authenticity

Every product we offer comes from artisanal know-how passed down through generations. No compromise on origin or quality.

Excellence

The black truffle of Périgord is more than an ingredient: it is a standard. We select each producer according to strict quality and traceability criteria.

Transmission

Our mission is to pass the torch. Training young truffle growers, sharing chefs' recipes, preserving ancestral expertise: that is our commitment.

Territory

We are deeply rooted in our Périgord. Every sale is an act of promoting a fragile and precious ecosystem that we are committed to protecting.
